The library section has been reorganized for 2009!
Each of the four main catagories below is now called a stack.
When you click into a stack, you'll be brought to an index page,
much in the same way that our retail catalogue
has a gallery page for each size of rosary.
Underlined text indicates a live link. Some links, such as streaming
music, will take you off site. Please back button or close the new
window to return.

How to Pray the Rosary
When you click into the first stack of the library, you'll be able to select
pages on the rosary mysteries, the order of the beads, full text rosary
prayers and a selection of other devotions to pray using
your five decade rosary.
The standard prayers will likely be quite familiar to you.
What may not be familiar is the call to the contemplation of the mysteries,
where we are shown the face of Christ through the Gospels
and experiences of our Blessed Mother, Mary.

Chaplet Prayer Guides
In this second stack, you'll find information on how to use some of the
most popular prayer beads for the intercession of the Saints, Archangels and
Holy Family, with photographic guides to the order of the beads
and corresponding prayers.
When you click into this subsection, you'll find the devotions grouped into
categories to make your search easier. Two of these categories are based on
bead configurations--that is, nine bead chaplets and devotions prayed on a
five decade rosary. They are grouped in this manner so that you may find
inexpensive ways to augment for more uses the pieces you already
own, and to help rosary makers sort through the maze of
chaplet configurations a little more quickly.

Writings of the Saints & Popes
Words have the power to uplift, to change a life, to end isolation,
to bring hope and spread love. In stack III of the library you will find
excerpts and books from the amazing writings of the Saints and Popes.
On a diligent road toward Christ, these are our guides.
And in a modern time, where it is so difficult to discern what is our own will
from submission to God, we need our teachers more than ever.
The Papal Encyclicals and Catechism will take you off the MHR website
to the beautiful Vatican website, in respect of Vatican copyrights.
It's a wonderful place to linger, reading and finding your own favorites!

Arts & Crafts
Cleanliness may be close to Godliness, but so is the creative spark!
Stack IV is the place to find the artwork, craftwork, published literature,
hobby collections and music created by visitors to MHR, friends of visitors to
MHR, and famous people who don't even know MHR exists! Where I have the
proper permissions, the work will have its own page, otherwise you'll be
linked from the stack IV index page to their work.
Father Shields is no longer able to write for us, so a small archive of
the homilies he wrote for MHR will be included in this stack.
If you have creative work you'd like to share, from homespun to professional,
please send an email from the contact page. Everyone's welcome!

"So shall my word be that goes forth from my mouth;
It shall not return to me void, but shall do my will,
achieving the end for which I sent it."
