A wire wrapped nine bead chaplet for St. Teresa of Avila in bronze, featuring an attached Caravaca crucifix.

The medal reverse might be a depiction of St. Teresa as a young girl (note the cross in her hand and hand to her heart) with her brother being collected on the road by their uncle after attempting to run away to Morocco to become martyrs. This is only my speculation in the absence of a true history of this medal.

Each large rhodochrosite bead bursts with color, and is double capped and wire wrapped.

The reverse of the tri-centenary cannonization medal translates as: Teresa Barbaris will have given to Christ all the lands, or her blood. The medal is very large, and the untreated rhodochrosite heavy, so this is a weighty chaplet of devotion to our beloved Saint & doctor of the Church.
