Mexican fire opal is one of the most gorgeous stones to grace our site. It is a bright array of fiery reds, oranges, yellow, and white. The stones used in this rosary are super vibrant and very gemmy, with the classic slightly translucent clarity fire opals are known for. The edges of the rondelle beads are cut into small facets, which catch the light and pull it perfectly through the stones. Matching the opals are cherry red Baltic amber beads. These amber beads have a slightly odd feel to them, being made of hardened amber rather than stone. They have excellent transparency, and can either glow bright cherry red in the light, or sink to a deep hue in the shade.

This piece was built with elegant round caps and a set of graceful, colonial Mexican styled parts, with small etched details. The Ave beads have been arranged in a classic graded pattern.
