This rosary is made with red jasper, a simple but nonetheless beautiful and reliable stone. These beads have lines of dark iron oxide throughout, which give a little visual interest. The Pater beads are polished grey hematite. The hematite beads are man made with a very nice finish and solid weight.
St. Hubert is the patron saint of Hunters, mathematicians, and metalworkers. This rosary uses a lovely openwork St. Hubert center, and a plain traditionally styled crucifix. It is built to be compact and tough, for everyday carry or travel. This would be excellent gift for a gentleman who works with metals or animals, or is an outdoorsman.
