Black onyx is a classic stone for rosaries and tenners. It is a nice dignified black, it is hardy and hard wearing, and plenty affordable even with very nice examples. This tenner is made of good quality black onyx with a fine polish. The beads are an easy to hold 8mm in size, with textured caps to make finding the Pater bead easy even with closed eyes. The crucifix has excellent fine details and openwork “rose window” arm ends. The end medal is a large Guardian Angel medal. Both parts are cast in solid red bronze.
