This extra large medal of St. Joseph and Our Lady of Good Counsel is incredibly beautiful. The piece is unsigned so we don't know who the medallist was who engraved it, but the details are fine and powerful on both sides of this piece. On the obverse, St. Joseph holds a lily stem, and the baby Jesus gives us His blessing. On the reverse, it is Holy Mary who holds Jesus, and both have intricate halos, crowns and fine robes. This is a stunning medal for large bead St. Joseph chaplets, tenners, or to wear.
