This tiny medal is packed with detail! Featuring Holy Mary touching the chest of the infant Jesus with the inscription in French, "Notre Dame du Sacre Coeur PPN" surrounding them. This translates to "Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, pray for us." Inscribed on the reverse is "le Mas-Rillier," which is a neighborhood in Mirabel, France. So this was likely a souvenir token for tourists there. For us, it works perfectly as a Sacred Heart medal to place onto rosaries, especially rosaries without at Marian centerpiece, without being obtrusive. Please note the size. This medal is VERY small and quite lovely!
